Vancouver Wedding Editorial - Almond Blossom

I have long been inspired by classical impressionist paintings. For this editorial, I dreamed of combining art history, elegance, and a touch of old world romance. Long been my favourite painting, I love the serene yet quiet beauty in Van Gogh’s painting, Almond Blossom. Combining flowering tree branches, blue as the focus colour with neutrals and white as adornment details, this editorial is inspired by this classic painting. We hope this will inspire brides to incorporate art history and their favourite art works into designing their weddings. The floral designers at the Wild Bunch executed the vision so perfectly--the bouquet and centrepiece were playfully lose, resembling the painting much like how I would imagine it. Thank you everyone for bringing my vision into life!
